  • 1923 Durez Company established Phenolic production in North Tonawanda, NY
  • 1924 Phenolic production initiated at site in Gent, Belgium, later to become Vyncolit N.V.
  • 1925 Rogers Corporation begins thermoset material production at site in Manchester, CT

  • 2000 Sumitomo Bakelite Co. Ltd. acquires Durez from Occidental Chemical Corp.; Durez Corp. formed
  • 2002 Vyncolit N.V. acquires Rogers Corp. materials business; Vyncolit North America formed
